I can definitely relate to the past few months as being thrown out of my comfort zone.  I am similar in that I've had the same friends since elementary school, and I was nervous to go to Greece when I didn't know anyone.  I can also relate on the indecisiveness and the fear of failure, both of which I hope I can get better with as well.

During this period of social distancing, the days are starting to blur together because of the repetitive routine of watching lectures, studying for exams, completing assignments, while finding moments in between to spend time with my dog, eat dinner, and watch some Netflix.  I think that some good things are coming out of this period of social distancing: more family time, cooking family meals, going on walks, and getting some time to slow down and take time for myself to read or watch some movies or series on Netflix.   Last week I had my first online test for biology.  It was on plants and some animals. Who am I and What am I doing here?

My name is Matthew Tung and I was born in Hong Kong.  I've pretty much lived there for all 20 years of my life.  My family has never felt the need to move since we love living there so much. Many of the best friends in Hong Kong that I currently have I've known since I was just in kindergarten.  The reason why I love it so much is because there's not a city like it anywhere else in the world.  The food is great, the city is efficient, the scenery is beautiful, and the people are amazing.  However, I was becoming too comfortable staying in Hong Kong with the same friends I've had since I was just a small kid.  Hence, when after my freshman year in high school in Hong Kong, I chose to step out of my comfort zone and completely change the scenery from the busy city to a boarding school called Blair located in the middle of nowhere in New Jersey.  This change at first was extremely difficult.  I've never had to make new friends for a long time and I ...

Step 1 of Review Prompt: Samantha Rhynard

Three choices for things I would be interested in reviewing are as follows; the book The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind , the movie Marriage Story , as well as the movie The Shawshank Redemption . I have chosen two movies and a book as the media I would find preferable for review options, because they are very good stay inside activities. I would like to review The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind, because it is the book I am currently reading, so I will be able it a fair analysis, having been recently actively involved with it. Marriage Story and The Shawshank Redemption  are movies I would consider reviewing, because I have been told that they're good, but I haven't gotten around to seeing for myself.
