  1. Comment to Julia's Post: RIP George! I love this idea because throughout the show there have been so many fun and complex characters. I think it would be such a great idea to review the characters that have made the show so impactful, rather than the show itself.  It would be a really unique way to go with this assignment!
  2. Comment to Dina's post: I think it would be such a good idea to review the movie Parasite because of how engaged you were with the movie.  Many people I know can barely stay engaged with movies, and I think it would be really interesting for you to expand on some of the reasons why this movie kept you so engaged.
  3. Comment to Kat's post: I think it's such a good idea to review the book It ! I've never read the book or saw the movie, but it would be interesting to see what your thoughts were on how the book compared to the movie.

Blog Post #11 - Victoria Nemeth

During this period of social distancing, the days are starting to blur together because of the repetitive routine of watching lectures, studying for exams, completing assignments, while finding moments in between to spend time with my dog, eat dinner, and watch some Netflix.  I think that some good things are coming out of this period of social distancing: more family time, cooking family meals, going on walks, and getting some time to slow down and take time for myself to read or watch some movies or series on Netflix.   Last week I had my first online test for biology.  It was on plants and some animals. Victoria's Prompt Ideas

One of my favorite shows is Grey’s Anatomy.  It has been on air for so long, and so much has changed over the course of its time on TV.  I can start watching anywhere in the series and still be sucked in to tapping “next episode” over and over. Instead of writing about the show itself, it could be interesting to review the show’s evolution from the beginning to what it is like now. The NUin program- this could be an interesting thing to review because it is full of expectations and it is very much an opinion (because so many people had so many different experiences, and view them differently).  I also think there is a lot of room to talk about background information and to talk about my own views on whether I’d recommend the program and describe how I felt during my experiences in the program.  One of my favorite pairs of shoes I own is my Birkenstocks. Step 1 of Review Prompt: Samantha Rhynard

Three choices for things I would be interested in reviewing are as follows; the book The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind , the movie Marriage Story , as well as the movie The Shawshank Redemption . I have chosen two movies and a book as the media I would find preferable for review options, because they are very good stay inside activities. I would like to review The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind, because it is the book I am currently reading, so I will be able it a fair analysis, having been recently actively involved with it. Marriage Story and The Shawshank Redemption  are movies I would consider reviewing, because I have been told that they're good, but I haven't gotten around to seeing for myself.
