Step 1 of Review Prompt: Samantha Rhynard

Three choices for things I would be interested in reviewing are as follows; the book The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind, the movie Marriage Story, as well as the movie The Shawshank Redemption. I have chosen two movies and a book as the media I would find preferable for review options, because they are very good stay inside activities. I would like to review The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind, because it is the book I am currently reading, so I will be able it a fair analysis, having been recently actively involved with it. Marriage Story and The Shawshank Redemption are movies I would consider reviewing, because I have been told that they're good, but I haven't gotten around to seeing for myself.

    Shawshank Redemption is definitely worth the watch. There is an extremely heartfelt movie that makes you feel a whole range of emotions. It has so many different aspects of the film (like mystery, action, inspiration) that you can write about. Even if you don't end up reviewing it, you should definitely still watch it (it is on Netflix).

    I think that reviewing a movie you haven't seen yet is probably a good idea because that way you have expectations before going into it, I may even do that myself

    The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind is an intriguing title and if you do end up writing your review on it I would love to read your thoughts and then start reading it myself... I could certainly use a lot more inside activities. Looking forward to your work!

    Samantha, I think any of these could be great for review. I'd be interested in your take on Marriage Story (I haven't seen it, but I've read a lot of reviews). One thing I'll mention about Shawshank: it's a lot of people's favorite movie, so I've read a lot of reviews of it (this is not to say you couldn't or shouldn't review it, just giving you a little tip about your eventual audience!)

Victoria's Prompt Ideas

One of my favorite shows is Grey’s Anatomy.  It has been on air for so long, and so much has changed over the course of its time on TV.  I can start watching anywhere in the series and still be sucked in to tapping “next episode” over and over. Instead of writing about the show itself, it could be interesting to review the show’s evolution from the beginning to what it is like now. The NUin program- this could be an interesting thing to review because it is full of expectations and it is very much an opinion (because so many people had so many different experiences, and view them differently).  I also think there is a lot of room to talk about background information and to talk about my own views on whether I’d recommend the program and describe how I felt during my experiences in the program.  One of my favorite pairs of shoes I own is my Birkenstocks.
